Easter Weekend

The weather is finally co-operating and it has turned sunny and warm.

The whole family came up for the Easter weekend and we had a fun time.

The sap is running so we cooked a batch.  It was dark and sweet, a sure sign the Sugarin' season is coming to a close.

Watching for the magic number that says "syrup"

We ate a lot of good food, starting with with a gourmet breakfast of baked eggs in a nest.

We had an Easter Egg Hunt.  That's the best part about Easter.

Even Lucy had a hunt of her own.

Inside, the cottage was decorated for Easter and the dining table always seemed to have a huge meal on the go.

And there was plenty of entertainment too.
