Melting

We got snow overnight.
A good dusting too.
Everything was covered in white.

Thankfully, the sun came out and it melted.
The lake ice is melting too.
And just as expected, there's some flooding.

The docks on the boathouse are under water.

 The flag is reflecting in the water that's on the dock.

While the lake is still mostly covered in ice, it's open around the shoreline and where there is a bubbler.

Ralph and Muriel have been hiding out along the open shoreline.

It's nice to a little bit of blue water at long last.
My guess was that the ice would go out by April 28th.  David said he thought it would be May 5th.

Judging by the amount of ice that's remaining, ice out will be very soon…. between April 28th and May 5th!
