It's Beginning to not look like Christmas.

It was such a lovely day today. The sky was blue and so was the lake. There's a little snow on the ground but not much.  It certainly doesn't look like Christmas at all outside.

We decided to drive in to town today and do our Christmas shopping.
The nice thing about shopping here is there are no crowds, plenty of parking spaces and no long lines at the till.
There aren't many vehicles on the road either. The only vehicle in front of us in to town was a truck towing a Stanley. Look at the ice beside the outboard and on the bumpers.  It must have just been pulled out of the water.

Over at the feed store, the turkey's seem to be getting ready for Christmas.

This one was hand raised, a prize winner and because it's been habituated with humans, think it's one too!

Same with this gal.
She runs up to greet the vehicles as they arrive in the yard. She'd make a perfect Wal-Mart Greeter.

When it gets dark though, there are plenty of festive lights around town to make it feel like Christmas is coming.
I took this photo a week or so ago when there was snow on the ground. It's mostly grass now.
