Moon

Last night David got a good photo of the full moon rising across the bay.



This time of year some call it a Worm Moon because the Algonquin peoples called it that since they would see worm castings for the first time since winter.
Fat chance of seeing any worm castings around here for at least another month.

Others call it a Sap Moon because maple sap starts running.
I'm going with that name because look at the temps for next week……

We can start tapping the trees on the weekend. Yay!

  1. Wonderful moon shot...your hubby did good! I was thinking the other day about you and another blogger that makes maple sugar. Wondering when you would start.
