End of Victoria Day weekend.

This past weekend has to be one of worst I've experienced.
Aside from obnoxious wee-hours-of-the-morning parties across the bay from a group of teens, during the day they were armed with a barrel style gun (probably a pellet gun) and from their boat, shot at gulls who were protecting their nests and then were seen aiming point blank at families of geese with their fledglings.  They were chasing these innocent birds all around the bay.
That behaviour is nothing short of cruelty to animals. It makes you wonder about their parents.

However the good part was the grandkids were here for the whole weekend along with their parents, whom happen to be excellent parents. Model parents I'd say. And together we all had lots of fun doing all sorts of cottagy things.

The even better part is they are staying a little longer!

Here's son-in-law sailing off into the sunset to fish.

The crappy people have gone away and now all is right with the world again.

(P.S. The lake temp is 68 oF)

On the bright side, that photo of your SIL in the boat? Spectacular. Sigh. You guys take the nicest photos.
