More weekend photos

It was a warm weekend and summer feels like it has finally arrived. 

PetBoy split wood and lay sod for us.  He also had plenty of time to pay with Lucy.

Lucy went for her first official swim of the year.   Surprisingly, the water wasn't too cold.

The Columbine is blooming now.  It seems like everything has woken up after a long winter.......

      .....including Blackflies!!!! 

Sunday evening, after all the cottagers went home and the bay was still and quiet,  I thought I could hear someone singing or maybe playing music off in the distance. I asked dad to give a listen and confirm what I was hearing. Then we realized it was Blackflies humming and they were all over the screen door!
