The construction and truck traffic where they usually spend the winter has ended so they've wandered back there to graze on conifers.
We went for a short drive to see if we could see any, and spotted 3 right away. The rest (and I hope there are still plenty) must be deeper in the woods.
The Turkey's haven't been around much either. This morning there were 8 that came to peck at fallen seed from the feeder.
I wish they weren't such pooping machines because I'd like to see them more often. They sure are comical to watch as they scratch at the ground.
How I would love to sit and watch the wild life.
