Raymond

Along Hwy 141 is the hamlet of Raymond.  There's not much there in terms of commerce or inhabitants.  However there's no shortage of scenery.

On a curve across the road from Long's Lake is a cliff that right now is an ice falls.

A rambling creek, rain water and melting snow are frozen solid is it tumbles over the Canadian Shield.

The ice is different colours all along the rock cut.

Shades of ochre, yellow, and blue.......bright blue!

On the way home, I looked to see if I could find Waldo, the moose. We found 6 deer instead crossing the pond.

We went to Raymond because there was open house for the Muskoka Photography Club. We met so many interesting people showing their fabulous photographs that David thinks he may join.

The theme for next month is 'light and shadow'. So no doubt he'll be looking for potential shots in that category.

Meanwhile when we arrived back home, the sunset cast beautiful light on the the Point. A perfect ending for a perfect day.

And then about an hour later Lucy barked her brains out because that annoying coyote came by.
