Spring must be cancelled

It just won't stop snowing.
It's snowed every day for the past week. Nights too.
I guess spring is cancelled?


The sap has stopped running.
Birds that would usually be back this time of year haven't returned.
And the lake is frozen shut.

Spring must be cancelled.

    Spring WILL arrive...I have finally come to believe that but it took a while. Actually seems like spring here. Even if the wind is from the North Pole.
