When dinner time rolled around it was too windy to dine on the boathouse roof deck as we had planned so we decided to simply have dinner on the deck where we often eat a meal.
Once every 3 months we have beef for dinner. I bought some extra lean beef tenderloin earlier in the day while in town and served it with garlic mashed potatoes, heirloom carrots, green and yellow beans and a mushroom red wine reduction sauce.
Right after dinner and precisely on time the Harvest Moon rose above the pines across the bay.
Beautiful!
Too bad clouds were forming.
Just the same, they became a pretty pink colour from the sunset.
As the evening wore on the moon disappeared in and out of the clouds.
Yet there were still lots of moon diamonds dancing on the lake.
very beautiful photos! We very cloudy too after dark so it was hard to get a great shot of the moon.
