Still snowing....

In between each snowfall and clearing what has just fallen we venture out but not too far because the roads are usually bad.

Today we went to get more bird feed from the Donkey Feed Store.  They have geese there, wandering around the yard that act as greeters.

Then we made a trip down the highway for gas. $119/litre. Much cheaper than in the city.

On our last excursion to the city, everything was covered in a thick layer of ice.  Lots of people were without power and some still are off the grid.
That sort of thing doesn't bother us. Like good scouts, we are prepared.

We do have more than our share of snow though.  Last night another 15cm fell and there's more coming in the forecast.
The fence post birdhouse is just about buried.

We've got lots of bottled water, 10 face of firewood, gas for the genny and snow blower,

...lots of food leftover from Christmas dinner...

And when we run out of turkey leftovers, well, there's always a new meal grazing under the feeder!
