Blizzard

When we went to bed last night, there wasn't a breath of wind, the sky was clear and the stars were magnificent.  If it wasn't so cold, we would have sat outside for awhile to stargaze.  Instead we tossed another log on the fire and called it a day.

This morning, it was a different story.

It's too snowy and blowy (a blizzard) outside so here's a view from the kitchen window this morning.

I waded out on the front deck to feed the birds.  The Blue Jays own the feeders around here.

Moose News is reporting we may get up to 50cm of new snow.  That's about 20 inches or just shy of 2 feet of snow.
I don't know the exact amount of snowfall we've received to date but it has to be somewhere near 9 feet or 290+ cm if you've converted.

The power is still on, surprisingly.  If it goes off, we're prepared.

  1. Oh, my, and we thought we had a lot of snow! I cannot imagine getting that much snow.
