Boat Ride

Finally! The weather has become sunny, hot and wonderful. Since it's late July, we thought we better start making the best of this spectacular summer weather before it starts snowing again.

So right after dinner we went for a boat ride.

Lucy is always keen to go out in the boat.

The sky was a little bit hazy from the humidity today but the islands still look green and lush.

There's nothing like taking in fresh air!

Sometimes the rocky outcroppings look like a slide.

I'll bet this guy never figured he'd end up on the internet … and shirtless. Here's hoping the lady in the boat isn't someone else's wife, otherwise they're both busted!!

This is Muskoka at it's best. Tranquil water. Rocky shoreline. Pine and birch forest.

Does the view get any better?

I can't imagine living anywhere else.

My beautiful and smelly (because we went swimming today) dog.

I don't think she likes me telling everyone she's smelly.

We saw 2 loons on our way back. 

 I just love their necklaces….

…and their red eyes.

Almost home.
That was pleasant boat ride on such a pleasant evening.
