Sunrise, Sunset

Remember that song from Fiddler on the Roof;   Sunrise, Sunset?  Well here's yesterday's Sunset in Muskoka.

Greavette Island in Gravenhurst Bay.

And here's the sunrise this morning.


Sunrise, sunset
Swiftly flow the days
Seedlings turn overnight to sunflowers
Blossoming even as we gaze

Ya, well overnight the seedlings around here froze their little butts off.  It was -7 this morning and there's a little skiff of ice across the bay. It'll be gone when the sun is higher.
