When I spotted this critter on the railing I truly thought it was an Asian Longhorn Beetle.
Not good a thing.
However I found out that it is a Whitespotted Sawyer. This beetle likes dying White Pines and other rotting conifers like Spruces.
Now I'm wondering about the health of our Pines and Spruces.
I guess he is handsome in his own way, but he is not my taste. And I would be wondering, too...about the pines and spruces.
