I forgot.

Every night we bring in the bird food.  Last night I forgot to bring in the feeder on the Gazebo.
Guess who came by?

The bear ripped the whole metal hinge off the post and took the feeder away.  We found it on the neighbours driveway in the morning.

Lucy woke us up at 12:30am barking like a crazy dog.  It took a whole half hour to get her to calm down, so I knew there must have been an animal outside causing her to become so excited.  I put on the outside lights, but didn't see or hear anything.
I now know the reason I didn't see or hear anything is because the bear was at the cottage next door sitting in their driveway trashing the feeder.

Meanwhile, I've hung what's left if it on a nail so the Goldfinches and Purple Finches can still feed from it.
Tonight, the Stealth Cam is going out!!

Oh, and all the feeders are coming in.....and there won't by any food smells coming from inside our place....and all the windows will be shut.......and the garbage/recycling will be inside a smell-proof container inside the garage......and there won't be any used fast food containers left inside our vehicles.
