There are 3 puff balls growing on the lawn. One is the size of Lucy's tennis ball. Maybe it'll get huge like the one's in previous years.
These two Hairy Woodpeckers were drilling like crazy into the birdhouse this morning. One was pulling bark off the bird house roof.
The leaves are starting to change. They are further along just north of us.
In Algonquin Park, the leaves are at their peak.
The colour change is early this year and not quite as vibrant as usual thanks to the drought we had for most of the summer.
I don't know where to begin..love the first photo and the one with the woodpeckers...
ReplyDeleteAutumn is now beginning to show her colors around here...most trees are still green with very little showing but there are the odd ones that are starting to show brilliant color. I hope it lasts a while.
