Sunday driver

It was sunny on Sunday afternoon so we decided to go for a short drive.
On the way out, we passed Sweetie and her girlfriends grazing in the grass.

Our destination was the Torrance Barrens.

I like the Barrens this time of year because all the rattlesnakes have hibernated.

And I'm fairly certain the bears have hibernated too.

The last time we drove through here, we saw huge footprints in snow that looked like they were made by a cougar.

The beaver wasn't around when we drove by.  Too bad.

We didn't see one single animal on our trip through the barrens.  Not even a bird. I was hoping to spot a moose.

The Barrens would be a good place to do a water colour painting.

Sure is a picturesque place.
