In the distance I can hear gunfire.
Hunting with a firearm is not allowed in our little corner of paradise so we're all hoping Sweetie and her family don't stray too far from home.
The fellows re-shingling our roof right now, agree that the local deer are more like pets. There wouldn't be any sport in shooting a deer that walks right up to you looking for a carrot.
And besides, just look at those doey brown eyes. Who would want to harm such a beautiful animal?
Watch out Sweetie.
I could never shoot a deer...well, maybe if my family was starving! They do have the most beautiful eyes.
