Lake freeze update.

It was really cold this morning but it was sunny.  Perfect for watching the lake freeze.
It's kind of like watching paint dry.

Now that the lake is solid and pristine white, there are wonderful shadows being formed.

We had a lovely weekend entertaining Alan (Monk) Marr, here at the cottage and he regaled us with his stories of Olde Toronto.  He truly is a national treasure.
Outside a deer was loosening the bolts on his tires whilst indoors Alan renamed David "Mr. Drink Up".
Together they helped themselves to the Highland Park, Balvenie and Famous Grouse in the "Tickle Trunk" of alcohol. Oh, and I think Monk polished off the Talisker too, just to clear it out. Sorry PetBoy.
They then finished off the night with a bottle of Woodford Reserve.

Good times at the cottage, as always.
