While most of the eastern part of North America felt the effects of a major storm that's been creating havoc since Christmas Day, we were spared the worst.
Overnight the wind howled causing our wind chimes to belt out Pink Floyd-like tunes but squalls only accumulated a mere 5cm or so of snow. Not much.
Snow is still falling. Here's what the woods look like right now.
Even though it's overcast and gray, it's still so picturesque to see snow clinging to the trees.
