Wet snow

It started snowing here early this morning.  It's really wet snow and not sure it will last.

Because the ground was covered and due to the fact I'm trying to encourage Pine Grosbeaks which are ground feeders, I broadcast some seed under the Pine trees.

Guess who showed up.

There were 6 deer in total. Most were fawns. So as a special treat, kind of like Christmas baking, I put out some seed for them.
