This moth went for a dip in the sap bucket.
The lake is still frozen and there were several snowmobilers testing their luck. It's still fairly thick.
Chippy doesn't seem to mind the snow. This little one watched us boil sap today.
And we got 3 liters of syrup. I think this was the best tasting batch yet.
I say that about all the batches.
Wow. I am having trouble connecting Easter to these photos. I am in awe of all that snow and ice. Goodness! It sure is beautiful but I know you are tired of it. I really can not relate! I was thinking that our temps of 71F were a bit low for us here and I've been wearing a sweater when I go outside. I'm sure you get used to the cold just like you have to get used to the extreme heat here in our very long summer. Have a lovely Easter!
