It turned out to be an aircraft belonging to MNR and it was practicing taking off and landing.
It would fly overhead and then after making a great circle, land way out on the lake and take off right away.
Then it would fly down the length of the Point, circle and head back out to the main part of the lake again.
It was a perfect day for flying and the bright yellow Twin Otter looked spectacular against the blue sky.
Next month the O.P.P. will be practicing with their boats. They aren't quite as much fun as watching this MNR plane.
