There was a little rain overnight. Not much. But the water level is still rising.
Last night I read that water levels are rising on the South Muskoka River between the dams at Baysville and Matthiasville. That water flows eventually to us once it gets past the dam in Bracebridge.
The water is over the top of my Wellies so I can't get inside the boathouse to check but I know our stacked Muskoka chairs and the paddleboat that's tipped on it's side are floating. The boat isn't floating though.
I took this photo yesterday of a boathouse across the bay; the lake is up to the window.
So this is what all the snow we got over the winter, November to March, from Algonquin Park to Muskoka looks like melted. Oh, and plus some rainfall too.
I sure hope you didn't have any in your home! And hope nothing was seriously damaged in the boat house.
