Thursday started out rather foggy. It was cool but the forecast was calling for hot and extremely humid.
The fog slowly lifted off the Point....
...and on the open part of the lake, fog was rolling along......
...creeping across the water like a low lying cloud.....
...and as the air became warmer, the fog cloud got smaller and eventually disappeared.
It got hot and humid around lunch time and beautiful clouds were forming in the blue sky.
Ralph didn't mind the humidity at all. It was nice and cool in the lake.
Neither did Muriel. I put my feet in the lake for awhile and it was too cold at all.
After dinner we went for a boat ride. The lake was flat and the clouds were spectacular.
We decided to head out to Gravenhurst Bay passing by the lighthouse in the Narrows.
Earlier in the day we were watching the OPP training in their boats. Here they all are tied up and waiting for a new crew to train tomorrow.
It was a perfect evening to be out on the lake.
OK...that first shot is just simply magical. I so love it...wish I had taken it.
ReplyDeleteRalph is handsome as ever...and Muriel is pretty, too.
And I have always loves skies like the one below her. I have always been a cloud watcher.
