Blue Moon

In August the full moon is called a Grain Moon but because there were two full moons this month, this one is called a Blue Moon.

The moon has been the evening entertainment this week; clear skies, still water, warm air. The ideal reason to sit outdoors and comment over and over "just look at that beautiful moon!"

The moon glow on the water is so beautiful to watch as well over the course of the evening. It changes from golden to white diamonds dancing on the lake as the evening wears on.

On Google home page today is a banner celebrating Claude deBussy and the song is Clair de Lune.
Seems there's lots of musical lunar reference this week.
But last night I had the Marcel's in my head doing their do wop version of Blue Moon.

Good.  Because when the sky clears and the moon rises, it'll be just as beautiful tonight and you can sing along!
