The first visitor was a fox.
I sort of figured there was a fox in the neighbourhood because there was fox sized droppings on our front steps.
Also, there was a dead blue jay down by the docks and by the following day, the remains were gone.
A little later during the night, a doe appeared.
She gingerly made her way down the slope.
Then she stopped right in front of the camera.
Her fawn, now missing it's spots and growing quickly too I might add, wandered in to view as well.
It's always fun to download the camera card reader in the morning after the Stealth Cam has been out to see who came by in the night.
That is so cool. I bought one of those for Dave for Christmas a couple of years ago and we never could get the darned thing to work. Oh well... now that we live in a subdivision I'm not sure I want to see what's creeping round the hood at 2 am.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun it would be to live some place to see all of this. Of course, we have seen coons and owls, and deer from here...so not doing bad. It is just not very often.
