It was warm outside, the lake was like glass and it was warm too, 20 oC (68oF). That makes it sort of swimmable. I mean, it may take you a minute to get in but only a second to get out.
At the airport, the military dudes were practicing flying a Hercules. It flew right over top making a huge noise.
Unfortunately, the battery was kaput so we didn't even get out of the boathouse, so Lucy went for a swim instead.
The colours are quickly reaching peak.
This swampy area looks somewhat like a Tom Thomspon painting.
Close to home, this little lake was looking particularly beautiful today.
Like clockwork every Thursday there are a few familiar boats that appear in the bay and in the evening, there are new lights along the shoreline.
Oh, Deb, that last shot is so appealing. Wish I was standing there looking at that view.
