Perfect Day

It was a perfect day today.
It was warm outside, the lake was like glass and it was warm too, 20 oC (68oF).  That makes it sort of swimmable.  I mean, it may take you a minute to get in but only a second to get out.

At the airport, the military dudes were practicing flying a Hercules.  It flew right over top making a huge noise.

It was so nice outside that we decided to go for boat ride.  Lucy couldn't wait to get out on the lake.
Unfortunately, the battery was kaput so we didn't even get out of the boathouse, so Lucy went for a swim instead.

The colours are quickly reaching peak.
This swampy area looks somewhat like a Tom Thomspon painting.

Close to home, this little lake was looking particularly beautiful today.

We've noticed that Thursday is the new Friday.
Like clockwork every Thursday there are a few familiar boats that appear in the bay and in the evening, there are new lights along the shoreline.

  1. Oh, Deb, that last shot is so appealing. Wish I was standing there looking at that view.
