Fire!

Late this afternoon we noticed a house in fire across from the baseball diamond on the west side of town.
It took at least 10 minutes for the volunteer fire department to arrive from when we took this photo. Needless to say, the fire spread further during the wait.

The air from this point all the way to Pine Lake was filled with toxic smoke.

The fire was a reminder to change the batteries in our fire alarms and co detectors. Oh, and check the extinguishers too.
