Snowfall record

I was wondering the other day as I shovelled off the deck for, oh I don't know, maybe the millionth time this winter, exactly how much snow has fallen.

On the CTVBarrie news this article appeared:

374.5 cm translates to 12 feet 3 inches.
That's a lot of snow.

This is our neighbours deck. It's buried deep with snow almost to the top of the railing and part way up the sliding door.

When all this snow melts, there is bound to be flooding.

It's not going to melt anytime soon though and there's plenty of snow in the forecast for the weekend.
