Deep snow

I've been unable to keep up with clearing a path down to the lake over the past few weeks.  Plus it's been so cold too that staying outdoors for any length of time isn't much fun.

Today I made the trek down to the lake.  On the stairs, the snow was up to my butt. I simply can't believe how much snow there is!

Here's a photo of the lake hidden under a deep layer of snow.

There were fresh tracks in the snow on the little dock but I don't know what animal made them.

Over the next few days I'm going to make an effort to dig a path and clear at least a portion of the stairs so we can get down to the lake.
