Surprises in the snow

One of Lucy's favourite outdoor actives in winter is to take random items from the blue box and bury them in the snow.

In the spring when all the snow melts we find all sorts of recyclables such as cottage cheese containers or plastic water bottles scattered around.

Here she is burying a plastic water bottle that she has in her mouth.

She sticks her head down deep in the hole she's excavated.

Speaking of deep snow and surprises look at the snow that has come off the roof of this house in town.
It's so high, they can't see out of their front window.  It's been like this since January.
When the snow melts, they'll be surprised to see light again as well as their front lawn.
