Autumn

The fall colours have finally peaked here.  It's a little late this year.

The lake was like glass this morning and the sky a uniform grey. It may rain later.

Starting on the weekend, it's supposed to get sunny again and stay that way for a few weeks.

That will dry out the leaves that have fallen to make raking easier.

Meanwhile, we'll enjoy some of the bright fall colours.
This little bush always amazes me because it never seems to grow and every fall the leaves turn bright pink.
