Hallowe'en

For the fifteen year's we've been here, never, ever have we had Trick of Treater's come to the door.

Last night 3 showed up … then a few minutes later, another 6!
No doubt, word was out. Someone was at home and had a treat to hand out.
Good thing there was only 6 because anyone else coming to the door would have had to accept tetra packs of V-8 juice.

Aren't these 3 kids too cute? Especially the Princess. The older one was collecting food for the Food Bank as a class project. The middle one was the spokesperson with an amazing wit.

It was chilly, windy, drizzly and there was snow in the forecast. Actually,  the weather reports were calling for several cm's of the white stuff. Some people were panicking that they hadn't put their snow tires on yet.

This morning, we woke up to the slightest dusting of snow.

Look carefully on the railing lest you miss it.
