Out and about.

It was cold here this morning.   -14 oC or thereabouts with a wind chill making it feel like -20 oC.
And windy too.

The lake is giving off the last of it's heat but hopefully the water level will drop before the lake freezes.

Wolfy was spotted by the neighbour the other day at dusk.  It was running across their driveway, coming from the direction of our cottage and heading towards the "mountain".

Neighbours driveway.

In town, everyone is getting into the Christmas spirit.

The street lights are decorated.

And there are Christmassy items to buy like this life-sized dancing Santa at Stedmans.  His voice sounds like Homer Simpson and it sings jolly songs while shaking it's booty.

At the feed store, poultry run up to greet patrons.  The one in the foreground likes to escape down the road and flag down vehicles.

This unsuspecting fowl will be invited to someone's Christmas dinner.

At a local marina, all the boats have been put away for the winter.

Time to put on the kettle, make some tea and sit in front of a cozy fire. Not only is it looking like winter outside, it sure feels like it too.
