The world is green again.

After such a long time with nothing to view but white, white and more white, finally our world is turning green.

The woods are filled with small bright green sugar maple seedlings.
It almost looks like a green shag carpet is covering the forest floor.
Bright green leaf buds are swelling on the tree branches too.

Also growing in the woods are lots of trilliums, our provincial flower.

There were never many trilliums here in the past as the deer ate them. But now that the deer have disappeared, trilliums are thriving once again.

  1. There is nothing quite like the green of spring...I love that time of year when everything has the fresh, green look to it.
