The big snow storm has turned out to be not-so-big for us. It's pretty much the usual snowfall.
And it's the usual type of squall that's been blowing since early last night.
It's business as usual for the birds. We now have 8 female Pine Grosbeaks whom we count as our usual suspects.
However to my complete delight a male Pine Grobeak showed up! The first one in several years.
I shot this through the window so it's not very good. I'm hoping he has some buddies that he'll invite to join him.
Also, I think the Chipmunks have come out of hibernation looking for love. I've seen tiny tracks leading from where there are burrows deep under the snow pack. A good sign of spring on this snowy day!
It is still beautiful...love that first shot.
