Popsicle Sap

Last night the temperature went down to something like -12 oC. The sap that, to our surprise, had been running yesterday was frozen solid in the sap buckets.

We collected it but some of the frozen sap was really difficult to get out of the buckets.

 Some of the dripping sap froze ...... mid drip!

Funny how it freezes, eh?

We brought all the popsicle sap indoors to defrost. It may take a couple of days for it to thaw.
