Snow

This day back in 2009, somewhere around 95 cm (3 feet) of snow fell in a 48 hour period.  As it turned out, it was just about the only snow we got all winter.

This morning when we woke up there was around 15 cm (6 inches) of new snow on the ground. A mere dusting compared to Dec. 10/09.

It was light, powdery snow and we could have got rid of it with a broom or perhaps a leaf blower. However David has a new toy.

And it makes blowing snow fun!

Meanwhile, the lake is still open.  There were little icy bits here and there this morning but the wind has since blown them away.

There is a little ice at the far end of the bay.

For the rest of the week, we're supposed to get more snow.  Bring it on... we're ready!
